How to install temperature and humidity sensors
Leave a message
Many people are not familiar with the installation of temperature and humidity sensors, and do not know how to install them. In fact, installing temperature and humidity sensors is relatively convenient. Pay attention to the installation details and techniques, what are the installation methods for temperature and humidity sensors? Let's take a look at the editor's relevant introduction and narration.
What is a temperature and humidity sensor
Due to the close relationship between temperature and humidity, both in terms of physical quantities and in actual people's lives, sensors that integrate temperature and humidity will be generated accordingly. Temperature and humidity sensors refer to devices or devices that can convert temperature and humidity into electrical signals that are easy to measure and process. The temperature and humidity sensors on the market generally measure temperature and relative humidity.
How to install temperature and humidity sensors
The installation location of temperature and humidity sensors should be representative, avoiding installation in temperature dead corners, strong magnetic fields, near furnace doors, or close to heated objects. The junction box of the temperature and humidity sensor should not touch the container wall of the measured medium. The temperature at the junction box of the temperature and humidity sensor should not exceed 100 ℃. For WZP type thermal resistance temperature and humidity sensors using ceramic or mica platinum resistance elements, they should be installed in places without or with little vibration. For WZC type copper thermistor temperature and humidity sensors, installation in areas with strong vibrations should be avoided. For those occasions with vibration, armored temperature and humidity sensors with good seismic performance can be selected.
The temperature change at the reference end of the thermocouple temperature and humidity sensor installation should be as small as possible and should not exceed 100 ℃ as much as possible. When selecting explosion-proof thermocouple temperature and humidity sensors, attention must be paid to the classification and classification of the installation site, and the grouping and area range should comply with corresponding regulations. Thermocouple temperature and humidity sensors with porcelain protective sleeves must avoid sudden cooling and heating, and be installed at a location that does not hinder the movement of the heating element to avoid sudden cracking and damage to the porcelain tube.
The insertion depth of temperature and humidity sensors can generally be determined according to actual needs. But the minimum insertion depth should not be less than 8-10 times the diameter of the temperature and humidity sensor protective sleeve.
The installation position of the temperature and humidity sensor should be vertical as much as possible to prevent deformation under high temperatures. However, in the case of flow velocity, it must be installed in the opposite direction to the flow velocity (usually inclined at 45 °). It is best to choose the bend of the pipeline, and the effective working part of the temperature and humidity sensor should be located in the middle of the fluid. When horizontal installation is required, support brackets should be installed if necessary. The outlet hole of the temperature and humidity sensor junction box for inclined and horizontal installation should be downward to prevent water, steam, dirt, etc. from falling into the junction box.
