Power management ICs are available from Texas Instruments and Unitride, respectively, under the models UCC28C45D and UCC28C457P. Both provide a single output and can manage voltages ranging from 7.6V to 18V. They function in a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C and control frequency.

Although synchronous rectification is not supported, they are suitable for a range of applications, including boost and buck, and can be used in boost, flyback, and forward converter configurations.
